• The lovely Steph Carson has stepped back from running Thursday evenings from the beginning of this year.  We successfully trialled a new daytime session which Steph has been running in Bendigo on Tuesday mornings.
• Due to the Free trial sessions and successful advertising we have seen growth in all groups, particularly Bendigo Thursday which has doubled in size!  It is so exciting to see so many new faces and join your voices with ours.
• As you know, there are three evening sessions running in Kyneton, Bendigo and Castlemaine.  As I have a young family I'm not able to be out three nights in a row every week.  Steph Archbold and Sam Sequeira have run some sessions in Castlemaine and Kyneton respectively.  Mim also ran a singing circle in Bendigo.  Thank you SO much for your willingness to step in and give me and my family some breathing space and for what you have brought to these groups.  
• We had some beautiful gigs including the Fringe Festival opening night with Three Birds , International Women's Day and the Community House luncheon.  Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to perform in each and every gig, you were simply delightful!  

• Tuesday mornings will continue in Bendigo - remember that you are welcome to come to any session any time once a member.  
• We will continue to mix things up a little with different facilitators stepping in during the term - a feedback survey will be sent to members very soon which i would love you to complete and this will help me to support all of our facilitators and continue to provide the MaCapella experience you all love! 
• There are two gigs booked in so far:  Mother's Day event in May at MECWA Aged Care in Bendigo and the Castlemaine Jazz Festival in June.  We will be learning new material and rehearsing for these in our sessions.  Please go to www.macapella.com to find out more information or to sign up.
• To continue the growth of MaCapella which is essential for us to thrive, we will be offering free trials at the start of each term.  A reminder that members who refer a friend who joins MaCapella for the term are offered a 10% discount off their fees on the following term. 
• I am running an internal competition this term (members only).   You could win a voucher for one term membership (valid for one year)!  If you share our free event on Facebook you will get one entry.  If you refer a friend to MaCapella you will get 2 entries.  The winner will be drawn on May 10th and notified by phone.  It will also be announced on the General WhatsApp.  Good luck!
• Term Fees - as the pinch of living costs continues to hit hard for some, it may be difficult for you to pay your fees.  Please reach out to me if this will prevent you from attending as there are options and I'd like to see everyone able to continue SINGING with us.
